How To Hand Wash Dishes
Let's face it, no one enjoys doing the dishes - and we can't promise you that Polagric will make it more fun - but with this Polagric Dishwashing Liquid cleaning guide, we can help make it less of a hassle.
THE PRE-WASH
1. Gather Materials

Before we get stuck into the dirty dishes, we are going to need a couple things:
- Sponge
- Drying Rack
- Polagric Dishwashing Liquid
- Dish Gloves (optional)

2. Check If Items Can Be Hand Washed

Check all labels and determine if the item can be washed by hand. Some items, like cast iron, may rust and require a special cleaning treatment.

3. Save The Drain

In order to avoid a blocked drain, scrape any leftover food bits into the dustbin; and decant any leftover cooking oil into a container to throw away. Liquid grease can become hard once cooled leading to blocked drains and pipes.
THE WASH
1. Load The Sink
Stack items in the sink from biggest to smallest. Start with the biggest items, such as pots and pans. Then place in the smaller bowls and glassware; followed by the knives and forks.
TOP TIP: Remeber where you place the knives, as you could cut yourself if you are not careful.

2. Prep Your Sponge

Dampen your sponge with warm water; add a few drops of Polagric™ Dishwashign Liquid onto the soft side of the sponge; scrunch the sponge to spread the soap and create a foam.

3. Soak Baked-On Items

Use Polagric™ to soak baked on, crusty dirt. Fill the item with warm water, add a few drops of Polagric™ Dishwashign Liquid directly into the pan or item and wait 30 minutes, afterwhich you should be able to easily clean off any dirt.

4. Work Small To Big

Now to get started: scrub, rinse and dry. Start with utensils, like knives and forks, then move on to glassware, plates and bowls. Lastly wash the platters, pots and pans. Give everything a good rinse before placing them on the drying rack.
THE POST WASH
1. Rinse The Sink
Once you have cleaned all of your items and the sink is empty and drained, rinse out the inside of your sink. If you have a strainer at the bottom of your sink, remove it and dispose of any food bits into the dustbin. Wipe down the sink and the surrounding area, then rinse out your sponge and leave to air dry.

2. Air-dry Until Dry

Leave the dishes to air dry on their own. ALL DONE!
