How To Clean The Braai Grill

A braai on a hot summer day is one of the best things to do with friends, but the grill can get so dirty and greased up. Use this quick guide to get the grill sparkling clean and ready for the next braai.

STEP 1

Fill a large bucket (one big enough to accommodate the grates) with hot water and ¼ cup of Polagricâ„¢ Dishwashing Liquid. Stir in a ¼ cup of baking soda until you have a good lather in the bucket.

STEP 2

Place the grates in the bucket and let them soak for an hour.

STEP 3

Scrub the grates with a steel wool pad to remove any remaining debris, then rinse the grates with your garden hose.

PRE-CAUTIONS

  • Make sure the grill is cool, otherwise you are sure to burn yourself.
